I got the bad news today

My mother is due to have her 94th birthday the 23rd of this month.

She had a cancer lump removed January this year. She was taken to the hospital today after not feeling well. The cancer has spread to her stomach. There might be treatment, but more likely than not, she'll be spending time at home with an aide coming in to help out.

I love my mother more than anything in this world. She has been one of the very few people to accept me for who I am. I have Asperger's Syndrome, or high functioning autism disorder as it in known now. Most people avoid me, because I'm a bigger person, and they may not understand me. My mother gave me a lot of kindness and understanding, and that means more than all the material things in the world.

I wanted to share this information because I think of the people here on this forum as my friends, even if we've never met.

I'd like to propose a toast to my mother, the best person in this whole world. Have a drink on ME, my friends.

I hope everything will be ok my friend. You always have all of us to talk to on here. Everyone here is awesome.

This morning I got the call that my beautiful mother is now at peace. Let's not feel sad. She's in heaven where all mothers go. I'm looking forward to the day when I see her again.

Oh, brother I am so sorry for your loss...she was only a few days from her 94th birthday...My biggest and deepest condolences...

I am sorry it took me so long to see this and respond buddy….. I wish you and your family the best in this difficult time, there is no amount of preparation to handle a loss of this magnitude.
Always remember the good times and memories your Mother will always be with you every step of the way looking down on all the moments and memories you continue to make.
