so how did roy get the photo of joey

in the end of pt 5 you the sheriff have Roys wallet and he has recent pictures of Joey

How do you think Roy managed to get those? Did Matt know and give Roy the photo?

I've seen the movie twice in my lifetime, and the last time was years ago. I honestly didn't remember.

There's a ot to like-take DebiSue Voorhees.

The only explanation I can come up with is that Roy stalked Pinehurst and took Joey's picture from the woods or something like that. It would make sense that Joey's mother died giving birth or when he was still too young to remember his father, or skipped town. Sadly, there are several tragedies in play here alone, what with Joey being in a home with his working father close by, Joey seemingly having a good innocent heart and died needlessly which caused Roy to go on a rampage, and Max( I believe his name is) who killed Joey escaped the carnage. I often wondered if Joey hasn't been killed and Tommy still seeing Jason around, would he have started the killing spree himself instead of facing Jason? We will never know
